Just pop out the old factory side markers and disconnect the wiring harness. Plug the harness into the back of the new LED Side Markers and snap them in place of the old ones.

My 22 Ecoboost did not have any lights there, just a reflector, so it was good that these also came with wiring to run back to the center of the rear of the car. Alas my vehicle did not have a tail light there either, but since I installed these in conjunction with the MP Concepts Reverse Led Light (More on that in its review), I had a tail light signal there. Some cable ties, cable shroud and heat resistant & reflective covering and I now have an excellent laser straight light on the rear panels. Looks way better on the rapid red mustang than bright orange reflectors!
