The 2016 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 was basically a carryover from 2015, both in standard equipment and in performance. The only options were premium colours and a graphics package. Apart from the different lower grille and other exterior differences compared to the US model, the Australian version was missing the engine strut brace, which was later added to the GT model as standard equipment. The power was unchanged, and the mighty five-litre V8 delivered 435 hp (303 kW) and 525 Nm of torque. The prices for the 2016 Ford Mustang GT American muscle car were unchanged.
