The sweet spot of the Mustang range was the GT, and for the 2019 model year, it returned in unchanged form, well-equipped and priced at $62,990 for the entry-level version with 6-speed manual transmission. The third-generation Coyote V8 was upgraded for 2018 and delivered massive power (339 kW – 460 hp) and an even higher rev limit at 7,500 pm. Available as a coupe or convertible, 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, the 2019 Mustang GT started at $62,990 for the entry-level model. The most expensive version was convertible (with mandatory automatic), premium paints, Magneride suspension and Recaro seats, which cost almost $75,000.
